Teeth Implants

Teeth implants represent an excellent replacement alternative. The tooth implant itself is a titanium screw which is surgically inserted into the jawbone. After the implant has integrated with the bone a crown is attached replacing the missing tooth or teeth.

Teeth implants can also be used to stabilize dentures thus minimising denture movement. A tooth implant is designed to last many years, but poor oral hygiene can shorten its lifespan. Good oral hygiene is paramount and at Budi Dental we can help.

MDI is a denture stabilization system designed to provide greater denture stability for those patients who cannot withstand the rigors of conventional implant surgery or whom do not have enough bone to allow full sized implants.

Miniature titanium alloy implants act like the root of your tooth, which is secured to a retaining fixture into the base of your denture. The implants are placed under local anaesthetic using precise, controlled, minimally invasive surgical technique into the jawbone.

The head of the implant protrude from the gum tissue and provide a strong, solid foundation for securing the denture. You must still brush the implants as if they were your natural teeth with a special brush provided to you. If not, the plaque accumulation will cause inflammation and may affect the seating of the denture and loss of retention.
